Meridian Gallery Art Program is now conducting their daily programming at the San Francisco Art Institute, located at 800 Chestnut St, San Francisco, CA 94133. Annie, a student at Lowell High School, is currently interning at Fully Laced. As a Sales Associate — she provides customer service, organizes merchandise, and helps maintain the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the store.
Fully Laced “has been a story in the making since 2005. What started as a fun project to supply fellow sneakerheads with replacement shoelaces, has grown into a full-on streetwear brand and boutique, providing the industry with cutting-edge fashion and accessories.”
During Giving Tuesday 2015, Fully Laced donated portions of their proceeds to SWEP/JCYC in order to help more youth.

High school senior, Jason is currently interning at the Nichi Bei Foundation. He manages the distribution of Nichi Bei newspapers throughout Japantown, organizes newspaper archives, and supports advertising by dropping off and collecting solicitations. He also provides administrative assistance to the overall office. Sometimes he builds shelves!
Nichi Bei Foundation publishes Nichi Bei Weekly, the first nonprofit community newspaper of it’s kind in America. It is a grassroots effort aiming to keep Japanese America and Asian America connected, informed, and empowered.
Our host worksite, Meridian Gallery will be holding their 19th Annual Coffeehouse on December 19, 2014 from 4-6pm. At this event, they will be showcasing original artwork from several SWEP interns including: Julius Allen, Kevin He, Jabari Ollie, and Iuliia Shchegelska. Come out and support San Francisco youth! Admission is free, can’t wait to see you there!
